Profile of MSI Technology Computer Centre
Management Scientific & Information Technology Computer training centre was established at the end of the year 2002 by computer graduated youths. At the April of 2003, computer application and programming courses are conducted. The advanced courses are started at January, 2004. LCCI Accounting courses are enhanced at the middle of the year 2005. The strong point of MSI Technology is using the Interactive Teaching System. At June 2007, it was started to prepare to be the ICDL Approved Test Centre and now it is running ICDL Live Testing.
MSI Technology and ICDL
The International Computer Driving Licence TM (ICDL/ECDL) is an internationally recognised qualification that enables people to demonstrate their competence in computer skills. As a result of strong growth and increasing demand for the ICDL in many parts of the world, Ocean Gate has been considered to develop and support the implementation of ICDL in Myanmar. ICDL programmes are available in over 150 countries. MSI Technology has been an ICDL Approved Test Centre since the introduction of the ICDL certification in 2007. We are approved by the ICDL Asia-Pacific Headquarter as well as the SpringBoard4Asia Ltd, ICDL Licencee.
MSI Technology computer Training Centre, a private organization located at Pathein, becomes the second test centre to run ICDL Testing. “We ran only the local certification programs before. As the demand of Myanmar younger and the knowledge era, and the ICDL Certifications are should examine the real quality for practical use of computer applications in fact, we decided to run the ICDL at my centre” said by Mr. Tun Lin, the founder of MSI Technology Computer Training Centre.
Mr. Colin Glass, CEO of SpringBoard4Asia Ltd, the ICDL Licencee for Myanmar, gave the comment “SpringBoard manage the ICDL qualification in Myanmar and other ASEAN countries and are delighted to announce that MSI Technology have met all the high standards necessary to be an authorised ICDL Test Centre."
